Activity
(Admin)
The
third button in the rightward navigation menu in the admin
account shall open the site "Activity" graph,
as shown in the first mockup, above. This simple bar graph,
which is nearly identical in both form and function to Learningful's
"Earnings" graph, allows the admin to quickly
assess the health of the overall business via 5 separate
data points, across 30 day time spans, as well as see data
for individual days, by hovering over any one bar in the
graph, which then reveals the data in the module subtitle.
In the upper right, there are navigation arrows for sliding
the data backward, 30 days at a time. At the bottom of the
graph, any one of the 5 data points can be clicked to switch
to its 30 day data set, from the current view. Upon initial
loading of this module, the graph for the first data, to
the far left, point should always show, by default.
Data
Points
From
left, to right, across the bottom of the graph, the five
data points shall be:
1.
New Teacher Accounts (number of new accounts created each
day)
2.
Conversions (number of teacher accounts that make their
first subscription purchase, or for whom a first subscription
is purchased, each day)
3.
New Student Accounts (number of new student accounts, created
by teachers, each day)
4.
Unique Student Logins (number of unique student accounts
accessing Readingful, each day)
5.
Sales (total dollar amount of subscription sales, each day)
The
primary goal is to give the admin a quick hit of data that
he or she can use to assess the overall health of the platform
(whether it's growing, stagnating, or declining, on a month,
to month, basis).
Adjusting
the Date
Upon
clicking the second icon in the topline menu, the "Start
Date" module shall load, as shown in the second mockup,
above. Here, the admin shall have the ability to set the
starting point for the graph's data (thereby determining
the exact 30 day point span in time to show). For example,
if the admin entered 03/01/2024, that would show data from
March 1st, to March 30th, 2024. If the admin enters a date
that predates existence, or any span of 30 days for which
there is no data to display, the "No Data Available"
view of the graph shall show.
