Progress Reports

The third icon in the teacher's topline menu for the "Students" content area in his or her "Teacher Dashboard" shall open the tool for generating student progress reports. As shown in the first mockup, above, the teacher is presented with a paragraph to describe the process...

"To generate a concise report that details each student’s progress data since he or she began using Readagogo, simply click or tap the button below. Upon doing so, a zip file will download in your web browser that contains an individual PDF corresponding to each student—making them ideal for sharing directly with other teachers, parents, and caregivers."

...as well as a single option to click a button to begin the process of generating a progress report for all students. The infoline footer simply notes that reports can also be generated individually, from within student profiles. When the teacher hovers over the "+ Report" button, the infoline should change to: "Generate a progress report for X students."

Accessibility

The teacher must have at least 1 student account created in order to use this function. If no student accounts exist, let's still allow the teacher to view this module, but simply make the "+ Report" button be dropped to 30% opacity, made inactive, and make the default infoline footer read "You must have at least 1 student account created to use this function."

Report Generation

When the teacher clicks the "+ Report" button, it shall be replaced with the standard processing animation we're using, with "Generating student progress reports..." showing in the infoline footer, and the platform shall generate, and compile into a zip file, the "Student Progress Report" for each student—both collectively, and individually, as well as display the "Success!" panel, as shown in the second mockup, above.

"A progress report for each of your students, showing all data compiled since they began using Readingful, has been successfully generated, and downloaded, as a zip file, in your web browser. This file contains both an individual PDF corresponding to each student, as well as a collective document of all student progress reports."

The zip file should be named "readingful_student_progress_reports.zip" and the collective file should be named "readingful_student_progress_report_all_students.pdf" The individual reports files should be named "readingful_student_progress_report_firstname_lastname.pdf"

The Progress Report Itself

As shown in the third mockup, above, Readingful's actual progress report shall consist of the logo at the very top, a title "Student Progress Report," with the time period covered to its right. Below that we have the student's name and grade, as well as four basic data points: 1. Texts Read, 2. Mastery Percentage, 3. Progression Score, 4. Reading Level. Below that begins the entire question answer record, alphabetically, by reading comprehension skill. Two columns, with a total of 48 skill areas listed:

Note: Although there are only 48 skills listed on the report, Readingful's questions shall actually included over 120 skills in total, because the others fall under the category of those 48 skill areas listed above. I'm showing the subcategory skills by indendting them under their main skill category, above.
